Popular luxury fashion brand, Céline, a LVMH brand, has been a shopping staple in SoHo since the 67 Wooster Street store opening back in 2014. This summer the ready-to-wear brand brought a little bit of France to NYC, by commissioning this abstract art work on a landmark building in SoHo at Spring and Wooster. This simplistic black type atop the pop of blue, white and red cannot be missed from the streets below.
The mural was painted over a sixty year old ghost sign that previously overtook the corner of the large brick building. By working in conjunction with the New York and Paris Celine teams as well as the NYC Landmarks Commission, Overall was able to produce the desired look and feel for the brand in time for New York Fashion Week.
