


POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for someone to help with the setup and dismantling of temporarily suspended scaffolding so that our paint team can access specific portions of a building to perform their desired work. You will work as a member of an erection/dismantling crew and sometimes prepare and/or prime a mural space. You will be expected to build and dismantle suspended scaffolds in accordance with company policies, local regulations, and OSHA standards. This is a Freelance or potential Part Time position
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Build rigging equipment and anchor/tieback system in accordance with common practices and OSHA standards

Build suspended scaffold/swing stage properly and in accordance with commonpractices and OSHA standards

Integrate the rigging and suspend scaffold systems and inspect to make sure the system is working properly

Safely pack equipment into and out of buildings so that no damage is incurred

Safely and effectively supply material to team members in a logical and

Load and unload equipment to and from project sites in an orderly fashion

Adhere to safe work practices and procedures so that the job site is free of potential hazards

Take corrective action if potential hazards arise so that you and your team aresafe from injury

Maintain good housekeeping on project sites and cleanup sites at the end of each day

Communicate efficiently and respectfully with clients, project managers, and fellow employees

Ability to follow instructions in an efficient manner

Comfortable with heights and physical labor

Problem-solving skills

Efficient commutation skills

Reliability

Flexible schedule – Extended out-of-town work

Willingness to learn new concepts and ideas

Comfortable driving truck and trailer

Previous experience in construction/scaffold industries

OSHA certification (30 hours) a plus
