This Spring, iconic minimalist brand GAP debuted their latest 1969 denim collection. The line brings a modern spin on classic fits; distressed jean jackets, patchwork denim and clean-cut button downs. Gap’s campaign, New Generation, enlists noteworthy models such as Darius Johnson, Fei Fei Sun and Julia. Posed in front of a soft-grey backdrop, dressed in the American brand’s must-have denim essentials, the models emit a cool effortless vibe. The Overall Murals team managed to capture that same laid-back expression, painting large-scale, photorealistic renderings of each model on a brisk day in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The saturated blue of the campaign matched the stark February sky.
