Do you know where to find the best pizza in SoHo? Do you know where to find the artist collectives in Bushwick? Have you found the best dog park in Williamsburg? If you answered no to any of these questions, you don’t know Google Maps yet.
For this location specific campaign, we painted not one, not two, but five walls to spread the word about Google Maps. Each mural features the name of the neighborhood in which it’s found and encourages viewers to learn more about the most densely populated city in the country. The Google Maps app has an Explore feature that allows users to discover hidden gems that might be right under their noses. From yummy restaurants, to cool music venues or to your new favorite dive bar, Google Maps points you in the right direction.
We had a great time spreading the word all over New York City about Google Maps. We even managed to paint both of the walls in SoHo in under a day, just to get the word out faster. So if you don’t know, now you know.
