taking hand paint to new heights

What’s the most technically complex thing we’ve ever built for a wall?

Ore-Ida at Pike Place Market, we hand painted an 800-square-foot water-activated mural that revealed hidden text when it rained, a technique no one had done before. We pioneered the use of hydro-paint at scale, testing application methods, layering, and drying times to ensure the effect worked perfectly, turning a static wall into a dynamic, weather-reactive experience. The campaign drove measurable results, including a +21% increase in sales volume during its flight.

This project pushed the boundaries of what’s possible on a wall, blending artistry, technology, and precise execution to create immersive, attention-grabbing experiences. Check out our other complex designs here.

What can we fabricate in-house that most mural companies outsource?
Our mural for Ray-Ban in Williamsburg was built as an in-house lenticular 3D mural, recreating the shifting colors and patterns of their Change Collection sunglasses. Each panel had to be hand painted and perfectly aligned, so the mural transformed seamlessly as viewers moved past, creating a mesmerizing optical illusion on a massive scale.
How early do we get involved in concept development — and why does that matter?

Our Special FX team jumps in as soon as your creative brain starts spinning. The earlier we’re involved, the more time we have to test, experiment, and do the R&D needed to turn big ideas into achievable, measurable, and unforgettable experiences. We guide concepts toward a direction that’s technically feasible, visually stunning, and strategically impactful, ensuring your vision not only exists but thrives in the real world.

We’re not just implementers, we’re innovators and creators, ready to bring magic to your walls. Early collaboration lets us push boundaries, explore new techniques, and create work that makes traditional OOH feel ordinary. When we’re part of the journey from day one, your concept reaches its full potential. Got an Idea? Let’s talk.

How do we test and prototype before anything is installed?

Our production team sets up a meeting with you to hear your vision before we go to the R&D drawing board. Depending on the request, we will draw out the build out, test paint concepts, research fabricators and technology to enhance the product we hand make in our Powerhouse. Our powerhouse is ____ sq feet lab where our production team creates a prototype of the wall and implement the install on a smaller scale
