POSITION SUMMARY:
The Production Coordinator supports the pre-production process by preparing artwork and production materials for hand-painted mural projects across the country. Working closely with the Creative, Operations, Shop, Sales, and Ownership teams, this role helps ensure artwork is accurate, organized, and production-ready before painters arrive on site.
The Production Coordinator is responsible for coordinating artwork deliverables, preparing production files, creating mockups, printing and mounting proofs, producing specification sheets, and assisting with project management throughout each project. They serve as a point of contact for artwork-related questions while collaborating across departments to gather feedback, coordinate priorities, communicate updates, and ensure projects stay on schedule.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Coordinate artwork deliverables, specifications, measurements, and production timelines with clients and internal teams.

Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding artwork specifications, file preparation, artwork guidelines, wall measurements, production requirements, and proof approvals.

Review incoming artwork and communicate any revisions needed to ensure files meet production standards.

Prepare digital artwork for projection, pattern making, scaling, and mural production.

Create artwork mockups showing proposed artwork placement on walls and structures.

Print, inspect, and mount color proofs for painter reference and color matching.

Create production specification sheets outlining wall measurements, artwork sizing, installation notes, and production requirements.

Assist with artwork mapping by coordinating with in-house and freelance artists, reviewing completed maps, and providing feedback as needed.

Collaborate daily with the Creative, Operations, Shop, Sales, and Ownership teams to coordinate project details, production planning, and artwork readiness.

Participate in project planning meetings, gather feedback from multiple stakeholders, implement revisions, and communicate updates throughout the production process.

Track artwork approvals, revisions, production milestones, and deliverables to help projects stay on schedule.

Coordinate with artists, project managers, and production staff throughout each project's lifecycle.

Assist with specialty mural projects, including researching materials, production methods, and creative solutions.

Maintain organized digital files, artwork archives, and project documentation.

Contribute ideas to improve workflows, organization, and communication across departments.
Qualifications:

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator required).

Experience using Slack, Trello, Google Workspace, and Canva.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Graphic Design experience.

Experience preparing artwork for print or production.

Basic knowledge of color theory, printing, and color management.

Project coordination experience.

Mural production, environmental graphics, signage, or large-format printing experience is a plus.

1–2 years of experience in production coordination, graphic production, design, or a related field.

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM

Salary starting between $55,000 - $62,000, depending on experience
