Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and results-driven Sales Director to join our growing team at a fast-growing, innovative, and creative out-of-home (OOH) media company headquartered in Brooklyn, NY.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned advertising sales professional with established agency and brand-direct relationships, a demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth, and a passion for developing impactful marketing partnerships. This individual will play a critical role in expanding our market presence, securing new business opportunities, and growing strategic client relationships.
As a Sales Director, you will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and relationship development through negotiation, closing, and campaign execution. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, helping brands leverage our unique media offerings to achieve their marketing objectives while collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure exceptional campaign delivery and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth across agency and brand-direct accounts.

Maintain, grow, and maximize an existing book of business while identifying and securing new business opportunities.

Consistently exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.

Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers across agencies, brands, and marketing organizations.

Identify, prospect, and convert new advertising partners through proactive outreach, networking, and industry engagement.

Lead the full sales process, including prospecting, proposal development, presentations, negotiations, contracting, and ongoing account stewardship.

Create compelling sales presentations and customized partnership recommendations that align with client goals and objectives.

Partner closely with internal teams—including Marketing, Content, Production, Operations, and Executive Leadership—to develop innovative solutions and ensure successful campaign execution.

Respond strategically to RFPs and proactively develop opportunities outside of formal RFP channels.

Serve as a market expert by staying informed on industry trends, competitive activity, emerging technologies, and evolving client needs.

Represent the company at industry events, conferences, client meetings, and networking functions to strengthen market visibility and generate new business opportunities.

Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, account activity, and reporting within CRM platforms.
Qualifications:

7+ years of successful advertising sales experience, preferably within out-of-home (OOH), digital out-of-home (DOOH), media, or related advertising sectors.

Established agency and brand-direct relationships with a proven history of generating and growing revenue.

Demonstrated success in exceeding sales goals in a competitive environment.

Strong business development, prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills.

Exceptional communication, presentation, relationship-building, and client-facing abilities.

Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and develop creative solutions for clients.

Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple opportunities simultaneously.

Proficiency with CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Slack, and Mac OS.

Passion for advertising, media, marketing innovation, and client success.

Bachelor's degree preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission structure

On-target earnings (OTE): $300,000 - $400,000+
