We partnered with American Express to do more than place media on a wall; we transformed a Brooklyn intersection into a landmark.

Located at Wythe Avenue and North 13th & 14th Streets, the project spans 6,000 square feet across B-82 and B-83, making it the largest hand painted advertisement Overall Murals has ever executed. The scale immediately sets it apart, but the intention behind it defines the work: to elevate out-of-home advertising into a permanent, art-driven presence rooted in place.

At the center of the mural is the American Express Platinum Card, magnified to monumental proportions. Every detail, from subtle gradients to precise linework, was painted entirely by hand, honoring the brand’s craftsmanship and prestige. Integrated illumination, installed by our Overall Illumination team, ensures the mural commands attention day and night, allowing the wall to transition seamlessly from a daytime landmark to a nighttime beacon.

Set in the heart of Williamsburg, one of Brooklyn’s most culturally dense neighborhoods, the wall sits directly in the flow of daily life. From sneaker releases at KITH, to hummus runs at Laser Wolf, to rooftop views and selfies at Westlight, the mural meets people where the neighborhood’s energy naturally converges. Whether passing on foot, by bike, or by car, the wall is unavoidable.

With weekly impressions exceeding 520,000, the mural ranks among the most visible brand activations in Williamsburg. But its real power comes from presence, not just reach. The sheer scale, combined with hand painted execution, creates a moment of pause and an experience that feels intentional rather than transactional.
