BRIEF

As soccer fever swept across the United States during the FIFA World Cup 2026™, Guinness launched The World's Cup, a campaign celebrating the fans, traditions, and shared moments that make the game truly global. To bring the campaign into the public realm, Guinness partnered with Overall Murals to create a hand painted mural in Atlanta's Little Five Points, a vibrant neighborhood known for its bars, restaurants, and community gathering spaces where fans come together to celebrate major sporting moments.

BUILD

Overall Murals transformed a prominent wall in Little Five Points into a large-scale tribute to soccer fandom and community. Painted ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ and remaining on display through the final match, the mural brought The World's Cup campaign to life, celebrating the people, rituals, and camaraderie that unite fans beyond the pitch.

REVEAL

Timed to coincide with the start of the tournament, the mural became a visual landmark for locals and visitors gathering to experience the excitement of the World Cup. Surrounded by neighborhood bars and restaurants, the artwork became part of the match-day atmosphere, honoring the places where fans come together to watch, cheer, and raise a Guinness.

IMPACT

By extending the campaign into the streets of a key World Cup host city, Guinness created a highly visible cultural touchpoint throughout the tournament. Remaining on display for seven weeks and generating an estimated 836,948 impressions, the mural amplified the brand's message, celebrated fan culture, and reinforced that the World Cup is not only experienced in stadiums, but also in the communities that gather to enjoy it together.
