- MEZCLA, SNACKS
MEZCLA < Back SNACKS Overview Service Outdoor Advertising industry CPG markets New York Wall(s) 1 Wall impressions 486,672 Brief Some brands buy an ad. Mezcla bought a landmark. The DTC brand partnered with Overall Murals to hand paint a bold, larger-than-life mural on our street-level illuminated wall in Williamsburg, Brooklyn , because nothing says "we've arrived" quite like taking over one of New York's most photographed neighborhoods. Build Overall Murals hand painted Mezcla's creative vision at full scale, turning a blank wall into a piece of the neighborhood itself. In Williamsburg, a place where every block already looks like a backdrop, that's no small feat. Reveal Once the paint dried, Mezcla didn't just admire the work from a distance. They showed up. The team , including the CEO , visited the mural in person to capture original content and share the experience across instagram, treating the wall less like an ad placement and more like a milestone worth celebrating . Impact Over four weeks, the mural racked up 486K+ passerby impressions, and then kept going. Mezcla liked what they saw so much that they folded the mural into their own marketing, publishing four organic Instagram posts featuring the wall increasing impressions by 15.6K+. Nobody asked them to. They just wanted to. That's the tell that a mural's working: when the brand starts using it as content, not just counting it as media. Why It Matters For emerging and DTC brands, a mural isn't just square footage. It's a set, a story, and a flex, all in one. Mezcla's campaign shows what happens when a single mural investment does more than sit on a wall: it becomes founder content, social fuel, and an ongoing conversation with the neighborhood. One wall, working overtime. Previous Next
- META, META GLASSES
META < Back META GLASSES Overview Service Outdoor Advertising industry Technology markets Los Angeles, New York, Miami Wall(s) 6 Walls impressions 4.8M+ Brief What if trying on a new pair of glasses didn't happen in a store? What if it happened while spending an afternoon shopping along Abbot Kinney . Ducking into a boutique in SoHo . Or grabbing a cafecito in Little Havana . That's the idea behind Meta's AI glasses. Technology designed to fit seamlessly into everyday life. To introduce the collection, Meta partnered with Overall Murals to bring the campaign out of the screen and onto the street, creating six hand painted murals that showcased the different styles of the Meta AI glasses in neighborhoods where people naturally stop, look, and explore. Build Six walls. Three cities. Countless double takes. Overall Murals transformed campaign photography into six larger-than-life hand painted murals across Los Angeles , New York , and Miami . Three of the six walls showcased models wearing different Meta AI glasses, highlighting the range of frames and styles across the collection. The other three featured trendsetter Kylie Jenner wearing the limited-edition Skyler Classic Black Kylie Edition, turning an exclusive collaboration into an unmissable street moment. We've spent years turning blank walls into neighborhood landmarks. Long before we were painting campaigns for global brands, we were painting walls because that's where stories live. That same craft went into every portrait, every reflection, and every detail of each pair of glasses, proving that even the most advanced technology can feel right at home when it's painted by hand. Reveal Technology usually lives behind a screen. This campaign asked people to look up instead. Across three cities, Meta AI glasses became part of the neighborhoods themselves, inviting people to experience the collection the same way they experience great street art: unexpectedly, at full scale, and out in the real world. The result wasn't just six murals. It was six new ways to see what the future of eyewear and technology looks like. Impact The campaign generated 4,861,240 impressions across Venice , SoHo , and Little Havana . By combining celebrity, style, and the timeless craft of hand painted murals, Meta turned a product launch into something people didn't just scroll past; they walked past, stopped for, photographed, and shared. Because even in an AI-powered world, there's still something unforgettable about paint on a wall . Previous Next
- PURE LEAF, "NO" IS BEAUTIFUL
PURE LEAF < Back "NO" IS BEAUTIFUL Overview Service Outdoor Advertising, Overall Creative industry CPG markets Los Angeles, New York Wall(s) 3 Walls impressions 2.3M+ For the month of No-vember, OM Art Studio’s team spearheaded the creative development for Pure Leaf’s “No is Beautiful” campaign focused on encouraging women to embrace the power of “No”, so they can say “Yes” to a more balanced life. Overall Murals carefully curated the artists based on the client’s vision, choosing two outstanding illustrators whose styles embody Pure Leaf and their collaboration with renowned Spoken Word Poet, Author, and Speaker Arielle Estoria and her captivating poem, “The Beautiful Art of No”. We collaborated with LA-based artist Ashley Lukashevsky, who uses her craft to illustrate progressive social movements and issues by drawing what the world would look like without harmful systems in place. And across the country, in NYC, we worked alongside illustrator Perryn Ford a contemporary figurative illustrator and painter who uses her art to create greater connections and community within ourselves and the world around us. Her work is inspired by beautiful landscapes and the natural female form. Both artists made the perfect fit as they successfully delivered two memorable designs that encapsulated the poem along with honoring Pure Leaf’s natural ingredients and incorporating some of its bottle’s most recognizable colors.Ashley’s design can be seen hand painted on our Windward Ave Domination, a FIRST TO MARKET mural campaign with four adjacent street-level walls, enabling the brand’s story to be told in the heart of LA’s Venice Beach . On the other side of the coast, Perryn Ford’s design can be seen on the largest and grandest wall in Williamsburg, Brooklyn , artistically hand painted on the William Vale Hotel. Ashley and Perryn visited their murals where they joined Arielle Estoria and our content creation team who captured both artists and poet reacting to their visions come to hand paint life. Both artists and Pure Leaf, hope the murals capture people’s attention and leave an impression that inspires, and encourage others to share their “No” stories on their Instagram using the hashtag #NOISBEAUTIFUL . In fact, onlookers are encouraged to pose in front of the murals and post their own “NO” Stories on their Instagram using the hashtag and tagging the Pure Leaf brand. Previous Next

OM's Art Studio teamed up with illustrator Masha Foya to co-design a playful mural, emphasizing the product's creamy texture while also weaving together the story of the product and brand's values. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=btEvnhd-hjY The illustration depicts the Asiago Plateau, located in the Veneto region in Northern Italy, where both Nocciolata and the Rigoni family comes from. Google < Back Pixel 2 Overview Service Outdoor Advertising industry Technology markets Los Angeles Wall(s) 2 Walls impressions Tech-geeks rejoice as the Google Pixel 2 was released this past fall. Google aimed to capture the artistic beauty of the phone by collaborating with emerging artists to create a series of murals and matching phone cases. Overall Murals produced the artwork designed by Petra Cortright in Venice and Silver Lake, Los Angeles. Cortright's abstract paintings are composite images, sourced from Google Images and then made visually appealing from the artist's spin of each piece. These bold murals were the backdrops of many social media posts by Angelenos. Previous Next

- LEXUS, LEXUS IS 2021
LEXUS < Back LEXUS IS 2021 Overview Service Outdoor Advertising, Overall Creative industry Automotive markets New York Wall(s) 2 Walls impressions 930K+ In November, Moxi Events sought us out to spearhead a project to announce the launch of Lexus’ new luxury vehicle, the 2021 Lexus IS . Lexus was looking to break away from traditional automobile campaigns and tap into a new demographic of millennials. And what better way to announce a “thrilling” new campaign than on a 1300 square ft hand painted mural in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn . Lexus was interested in supporting a local artist that would capture the spirit of their new modern design. So, we tapped into our rolodex of quality artists and asked the queen of graffiti, Queen Andrea , to brainstorm on the project. Why Queen Andrea? As a native New Yorker influenced by her environment and raised by artists, Andrea has left her mark (literally) and continues to do so through her use of color, graffiti, graphic design, and typography. Her overall energy toward the project made her a perfect collaborator for the Lexus IS campaign. The result? Lexus received a high-end street art mural that grabbed the attention of passersby (835,680 to be exact) and as an added bonus, a QR code was drawn onto the side of the mural. The QR code is a great tool, especially during the pandemic as it provides viewers with a seamless experience to engage with the brand. In fact, a recent survey done by Beacon Technology found, “18.8% of users in the US and the UK strongly agreed that there was a visible increase in QR code usage {…}.“ Adweek also notes, “41% of consumers are willing to scan QR codes for contactless purchase.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wevHTxuwpZ0 As a result, Lexus’s use of QR codes was a perfect approach to lead every Williamsburg millennial, already attached to their phone, to the Lexus IS page — ‘cause hey, what millennial isn’t attached to their phone? Check out the hand painted graffiti signs and let us know what drives you! BEYOND THE WALL Artwork extended beyond the wall into car wraps, posters, and postcards to show at dealership showrooms. - Google Shopping,
Google Shopping < Back Overview Service Outdoor Advertising, Content Creation, Overall Creative industry Technology markets Los Angeles Wall(s) 1 Wall impressions 3.2M+ Google Shopping sought the expertise of the award-winning Overall Creative to partner with a local Los Angeles artist to design the mural as an extension of Venice, and support several local small all-female, black, or LGBTQ participating businesses by showcasing a variety of their products. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X92yShlG92Q LA-based illustrator and muralist Crisselle Mendiola designed this fun and colorful mural by incorporating small local businesses Phew! Beauty, Noto Botanics, Boy Smells, Bloom & Plume, Chado Tea, House of Aama, and Lanston, products throughout the design. Criselle brought the concept to life by turning the Venice Beach environment into a colorful mural illustration featuring familiar Venice Beach characters – From surfers, bodybuilders, and rollerbladers that encapsulated the vibe of the neighborhood while showcasing each product. Whether it’s a local passerby walking with his boom box toating a Bloom & Plume bag or a surfer swerving around a bottle of Noto Botanics Face Serum, each individual product is strategically placed into the design as a prop, all ready to be shopped straight from the mural! How does the onlooker know to scan the mural, you ask? Each individual product features a google tag prompting passersby to scan the product in the mural using Google Lens – a technology that allows users to point their phone to the mural and buy the product directly from the site. The result is an interactive mural that encapsulates the neighborhood in which it resides encouraging locals and tourists alike to shop small while sharing their gift wishlist with friends and family. - The New School, INTEGRAL RUEDI BAUR
The New School < Back INTEGRAL RUEDI BAUR Overview Service Commercial Signage industry Education markets New York Wall(s) 1 Wall impressions Overall Murals was selected to produce a large intricate ceiling mural, conceived by master graphic designer, "Intégral Ruedi Baur" at The New School University Center at the corner of 14th Street and 5th Avenue in its downtown campus. The Overall Murals team of artisans painstakingly hand-rendered Mr. Baur's custom lettering, composed of groundbreaking subjects and luminary instructors of historic New School classes. The original balances the university's newly constructed and impressive building, which has been described as "challenging the status quo" and proof of The New School's "commitment to creativity, innovation, and social engagement." Through its curriculum and advocacy of important architectural achievements such as this University Center, the New School upholds its reputation for housing innovative minds. Unlike many traditional colleges, the New School strays from the arbitrary in regard to its curriculum. Instead, this cutting-edge institute allows its students the freedom to choose their own scholastic approach to education. Students are encouraged to "seek an unbiased understanding of the existing order, it's genesis, growth and present working," according to the precedents set by its founders. Interesting programs offered such as "Women and their Money," taught by Dorcas Elizabeth Campbell in 1949, "Games: 101," and "Punk and Noise," are just a few of the hundreds of classes and instructors immortalized on the school's foundation in an array of colors. Mr. Baur’s design is based on the 3D font he created for the New School, based on Peter Bilak’s font, Irma. The font is used throughout the building as a wayfinding system, and as the foundation for the stairwell murals, which are visible from the sidewalks outside of the building. Designed by the New York office of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), the University Center was conceived as a sixteen story campus within a building. Vertical, horizontal, and diagonal campus pathways work together to facilitate movement through the building, and increase opportunities for spontaneous interactions. The system of stairways are the principle means of circulation, and a strong focal point both inside and outside the building. Contrary to the perfect, modern black and white interior design and furnishings of the campus, the elaborate typography is as perfectly but imperfectly painted and composed of over 150 hand blended colors. Our artists practiced precise brushstrokes to create the crisp, vibrant typography over the course of several months on one stairway and four floors while standing with their necks craned for ten hours or while laying down on lounge chairs and scaffolding. For comparison, a mural of this size typically requires our team approximately one-week of production. The original design coats three angled stairwells or 4,200 feet. (the Sistine Chapel, by comparison, covers 6,118 square feet.) At the project's completion, we believe these laborious paintings enhanced the importance of their message and imposed on the viewer everything that the New School advocates: fresh perspective.
